I ordered this pickup for my Dobro (now Gibson owned) round neck resonator guitar. With the description of ultra slim and made for resonator guitars, I assumed Lace would sell something that would actually be ultra thin enough to mount on a Dobro resonator guitar. Not so, it was too thick where the strings touch the pickup when I tried to play higher than the 10th to 12th frets. I then tried the pickup on my Regal round neck resonator guitar. Same problem, not thin enough and the strings touch the pickup when I played the upper frets. Oh well, I have a Chinese made resonator with a tad thicker fretboard, where the strings only touch at the bottom two frets, which I would rarely play. So, I guesss I will put it on the Chinese made model. As to my Dobro model, I guess I will look for the National resonator guitar pickup which I understand is thin enough for round neck resonator guitars. I assume these Lace pickups sound great, I like all my other Lace pickups on non-resonator guitars. I just can't figure out why they make them for resonator guitars, yet, don't make them to fit. Unless they are only intended for the square necks. If so, they should say so.
