I sure was surprised when I opened the box containing this case. I was expecting a vintage style case but it's really just an imitation of the vintage style using modern plastic. Wow, what a shock! To top it off there's hardly any padding inside at all, it's like dropping your guitar on a thinly carpeted office floor. The latches have a cheap feel, the upper and lower halves do not fit together very well. I bought it for a Telecaster but it doesn't fit Teles very well, the guitar moves around too much so I put my Strat in it which fits very well and gave the Strat's case (the one with the TSA locks) to the Tele. One thing to note if you use Dunlop strap locks is that a Strat with Dunlops won't fit in this case properly, there is literally no room for even strap locks. If I had to do it over again I'd buy the case with the TSA locks, it's cheaper and much better made. The only positives about this case are the classic styling and the fact that it is pretty thin.

UPDATE: I just had to try the Tele in this case again as I still can't believe it wouldn't fit. It's even worse than my initial impression! Way, way too much room around the entire body and the guitar moves around in the case. Definitely DO NOT buy this case for a Tele, you're just asking for trouble.
