The Value Hardshell cases (CG-018) feature a 3-ply, cross-grained wood construction for strength. The top is slightly arched to give an added element of protection to the instrument inside. The rugged plastic handle has a comfortable grip and is tightly riveted to the body of the case. The Guardian Value Hardshell case is covered in classic black tolex for a traditional, classy look. The inside of the case features luxurious grey plush lining, with multiple padding thicknesses for maximum safety and fit. Dense foam cushions the sides of the instrument, and medium density foam provides the cushion underneath. The accessory pocket has plenty of room to fit a strap, picks or a guitar tool.

Guardian CG-018-E Hardshell Case, Electric Guitar Review

This is a pretty well made case and is strong enough for a light person to sit on without damage. This fits my MIJ Fender Strat with a Floyd Rose perfectly. The other review mentioned a Floyd Rose wouldn't fit, but if your guitar is the same or less thickness than a strat, and the Floyd is set up correctly it should fit perfectly. On my Strat it fits like a glove, not tightly but if it was wider or taller at the horns there might be an issue. The one thing that scares me are the latches, they are standard latches but if your case is over stuffed with books or too tall of a guitar then you need to be pretty careful. If you do have a Floyd rose, make sure the action is set right and the springs and posts are set for the correct gauge of strings or it wont fit, Floyds are supposed to be level so keep that in mind (if you need help look up how to set up Floyd Rose). The case is pretty well padded with extra padding on the lid which goes from about the 3rd fret to the bridge (on a strat).

I suggest you don't get this if;
your bridge is significantly higher than 2 3/4in
the with of your guitar body is more than 12in
the height of your body (to the horn/ tallest part) is over 19in

I cannot recommend this product. I do not like to give negative reviews because I know how hard business is, but this is not really a tortoise shell pickguard, it is more like a vinyl photograph of tortoise shell and not a very good one. I have a decent mahogany guitar I wanted to spruce up but would not put this on it or any other guitar. It does have a nice shape, I may use it for a template. The color is okay, just not tortoise. It may work on some guitars (I'm trying to be nice) it just didn't work for me.

V-Picks Medium Rounded 2.75mm, MRGMP Review

I ordered the variety pack of V-Picks and this is the one I love: Medium Rounded 2.75mm. I tried it on my Les Paul Custom electric this afternoon and the ease of playing is phenomenal. The tone of the guitar is mystical, heavy, smooth. I have tendonitis in my thumbs that usually makes my hand hurt to hold a pick and play for a moderate period of time. I played with this pick for two hours, with NO pain in my hand. The pick actually made my playing smoother, more accurate and faster. I don't quite understand how a pick can do all of this, but THIS ONE DOES. I just ordered two more.
