I bought these for my Ibanez exotic wood guitar to bring out its hidden potential. I had a little trouble fitting them to the bridge because of the taper of the pins. I had to sand them down slightly and add a small groove to my bridge. The difference that the bone pins made was unbeleivable. I thought I would only get a little bit brighter tone and slightly more substain if anything. It is like a different guitar, I was very pleasently surprized. I would have give the bridge pins five stars but I had to do a lot of work to make them fit right.
