Love these strings; solid tone and sustain that is bright, crisp and crunchy. The only downside that I could even think of mentioning at this stage is that they are, for a coated string, a little rougher/noisier on the finger slides. but then, with some of the other coated varieties, most notably Elixirs, the trade off for smooth fast quiet touch is a dampened tone with shorter sustain.

I bought this amp approximately a year after purchasing the Bugera 333XL212. I read the descriptions of this amp's abilities, and decided that it would be a nice addition to my amp arsenal, if it only did half of what they claimed it could do. Needless to say, I was surprised with the amp's responsiveness, but I really could not tell what it's true forte was until I started A,B-ing it with other amps, the 333Xl-212 included. Maybe it's the class A wiring, but this amp is all"in your face", compared to other amps. Setting each of the amps as closely as I possibly could, I could tell the BC30-212 tone blindfolded. Other amps sound like the tone is coming from back there while this amp sounds like it's coming from right here. Now factor in the 2 channels, 4 inputs, mismatch speakers, speaker reverse feature,half-power feature and dual effects loops, and you've got an amp that can go a long, long way. This amp is very heavy, and I would recommend installing casters immediately, as I did. I have yet to use but a fraction of the 30 watts available, and I believe that it would be at home in just about any venue. With a price tag at or around $600.00 you can't go wrong. I like to set my controls to a point right before breakup, so that as I pick harder, the amp growls along with a more aggressive attack.

This is a great fuzz pedal. It behaves well in a bypass looper on my pedalboard and gives a lot of control over the amount of distortion. I bought it for the bias control that allows you to set the amount of voltage starvation to the transistors. You can get a smooth fuzz or a nice sputtery effect from it. Really versatile and the pedal does not produce noise in the signal chain. The price is good for a boutique effect pedal. The Amazon seller, Megatone Music, had the product in stock and shipped it promptly.

I'll start this review with a short background. I've been playing guitar for about 15 years and semi professionally for about 4 years. I mostly play classic rock, blues, funk, soul etc. but l like all types of music. My main amp is a handwired super reverb clone from Sligo amps. I purchased these pickups in an attempt to find a strat sound that is clear, spanky and not too honky/quacky

Installed these pups about a month back in my homemade parts-castor. The sound is excellent, pure vintage strat tone. The pickups do not come labeled as bridge middle or neck but all measure the same and the middle isn't rwrp, so as long as they're facing the right way, you can install them in any position.
The tone is very nice, musical highs that aren't ice picky, big thumping lows, and scooped mids. You can get a pretty good hendrix type sound. I've found myself enjoying the middle-bridge pickup position (despite the fact that no rwrp middle means no noise cancelling.) for the note definition and twangy spank, I'm not really a country player, but always find myself playing in that style on these things.

So, they sound really good. That is half the battle, but here is the issue. On top of positions 2 and 4 not being hum-cancelling, These pickups "pick-up" every little bit of electric noise around. Cheap power supply for your pedals: NOISE. Cell phone in your pocket: NOISE Bandmates lighting rig: NOISE.
The good news about all this noise is you can tame it considerably by installing copper shielding in your guitars cavity, problem mostly solved. Not trying to harp on this, but it is certainly something to take into account if you're buying these with the intent of recording.

Overall the sound is great and to me, overcomes the hum. i recommend these if you want a classic clean strat sound that takes pedals well.

Also you get a bunch of fender picks, some polish and a rag. Nice bonus but wouldn't make or break the deal for me either way. I probably would rather pay $15 less then get the extras.
