I used this to amplify a Japanese/Okinawan San Shin. It works well, but a bit too well. I found I had to block the external shell or I got a lot of feedback from the amplifier. Will try a couple modifications, but once I remove the pick-up the tape is no good. For the price it was worth trying anyway.
