Fender Princeton 112 Plus Amp Cover Review

I bought this product from Music 123, and the top hole where the handle pops through was completely cut improperly. The handle was covered when the cover was put on. I could see this the minute I took this out of the bag. The reason for this mistake is clear to me. If you measure the top of the Princeton 112plus, the handle is offset with the top of the top portion of the cabinet, but it does not take into account that the cabinet is angled and when the cover is put on, the actual dimensions of the cabinet are not the same at the top panel where the handle is connected and the control panel is given more access so the top panel is cut back. This is a completely moronic mistake. You should be able to carry your amp comfortably without having to push the top aside to get to your handle. This will quickly tear your cover. Send it back if you get it like this. My guess is that this is a production mistake and will be the case with a whole shipment of covers.

Udate: Got my new cover directly from Amazon and the cover is great. The material is much thicker, which is weird, the handle hole is cut properly, and it doesn't reek of that overpowering cheap toxic plastic smell like the one I got from Music 123. It is as if the one from Music 123 was a copy. If you get the right cover, then you could give this item a four.

Around the first of the year I got out my old 1968 Hagstrom classical guitar and took it to a local luthier for some minor repairs and setup. This is a very well made case.

I have owned many road cases in my career and these cases are made exceptionally well.

There is no middle man or "distributor" involved - it is purchased and shipped directly from the company that manufactures the product - one at a time - for you.

I have a few customers who own these cases also - and after many road miles the cases were holding up very well - I decided to purchase cases for my newest amps from Safe Case.

This case fits the Hot Rod Deluxe III very well. The amp is skinnier on the top than the bottom - so if you need it to be completely secure just insert a small piece of form or a towel on the amp and it will be very secure.

Love the product - fits well. Very heavy duty design.

Convenient handle on top that allows you to grasp the case at the top and walk normally while going down long hallways or corridors - without having to bend over to push the amp along.

Wheels are large and heavy duty design - and have a non-mar material that will not leave little black marks on the floor.

Will I buy here again? Yes - AAMOF - I purchased one for my Hot Rod Deville also.

Still holding up very well - I couldn't ask for a better case.

I have had more expensive cases start falling apart after this amount of time - but this one still feels brand new.
