Have tried other flatwound strings for my fretless (and fretted) basses and always come back to Chromes. Both feel and sound are great compared to others that I have tried. These were purchased for a Traben fretless bass that has a longer scale and thru body bridge. So it needs super/xtra long strings that are hard to get from many other manufacturers. These strings were the perfect length for this bass.
