This cab is a great value, but the speakers are very thin sounding, tinny. It is loaded with 4ohm speakers. Not wanting to have to rewire the entire cab, I finally found some Celestion 4ohm 100w replacements. The website I found them on indicated they were bassy, just the right fix for a thin sounding cabinet. Now with the Celestions, this thing just sings! I was going to go through all the guitar pedals in order to achieve my tone, but now that is not needed!
This cab is rockin', with just one upgrade. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it with that upgrade.

I got the "warm" picks and the bi angle since it was most like a triangle, which is the shape I usually play. I like the thickness, the tone is good but I guess it takes some getting used to the one rounded corner. When I play rhythm, the pick has a tendency to turn in my fingers and then I wind up not plying with the pointed tip. I let a couple of friends try them and they had positive things to say. We switch back and forth from standard to Drop D alot.
I got tired of making the setlist with all the D songs together.

This is easy to install.
It does take a little time to develop a feel for tuning it, but it's not rocket science.
The E is harder to tweak than the D. Just keep flipping the lever back and forth as you find E because when you think it's at E you flip it down and back up and it's sharp. The feel is where you learn how flat to leave it so it comes to pitch after the flip. After that, you flip it down and the D is easy to find with the tuning screw.

One thing i was concerned about due to the lack of actual video on this was making sure it would flip down far enough to get completely out of the way. It does.

I recommend this highly. I talked my bass player into getting one because we certainly don't want to wait for him to tune up and down when I can do it in a second.

I initially bought the Fender Pro series hard case for my Strat and Tele. The case wouldn't fully close when all latches were latched. The ends of the case were still a bit open. I suppose the wood was warped; in any case, it was not worth the money. I sent it back and got the Kaces Boutique Polyfoam bag. Without going into detail, I could just tell right away that it was better all around. I didn't really want a non hard case with zippers, but given the lack of quality hard cases, I had to go this route and I am very glad I did. Superb if, protection, and function!
